16

last year, i wrote this post about my birthday. another year has gone by, i’m 16 now. (no, i do not have my license, nor my permit. i’m soooorta a procrastinater when it comes to this so just be patient with me!) the words i wrote last year mean even more this year. wasting time/making the most of opportunities/being thankful are all things that have continued to challenge me. in my fifteenth year of life i… shot a wedding by my lonesome (one of the most challenging & a huge contributer to who i am in my business today), took thousands of pictures, perservered through ap european history (although i tried to talk myself out of it many times & wanted to give up), made new friendships & relationships, grew in tremendous ways in my relationship with Jesus, and simply learned lived. my fifteenth year is one i’m proud of. it was such a step out of comfort, it was uncomfortable. through it, i’ve learned a lot and realized the true spirit of thankfulness i need. these pictures above are from my spring break/ 16th birthday! i’m so excited for this next year to come. stay tuned for a reflection post when i turn 17 ;)
